Usually, when I walk into a dealership, I don’t have the warm and fuzzies. I just know that there’s a person lurking in every corner ready to pounce. I just know that when I get to the paper work I’m going to get railroaded and I’m going to end up paying twice the price. Walked in to see about purchasing a new truck. After test driving one I fell in love. Carlos (I believe that was his name) helped us and even though we ended up walking away without the truck (for now!) he was excellent! He had great customer service, great conversation, and did not come off as a pushy car salesman. I appreciated his kind demeanor and will 100% go back to him when we are ready to purchase.
I have been buying cars for 44 years. The experience I had with Step One was one of the best. First, there was no pressure exerted at any time.
