The third quarter in Georgia was a period of meaningful community involvement for Step One Automotive Group. Our efforts in various initiatives have left us with fond memories and impactful results. Below is a recap of our key activities, showcasing our commitment to trust, innovation, and excellence, all aimed at positively impacting lives.

Stuff The Bus Campaign (July):

  • Our CDJR stores in Georgia joined hands with the United Way of The Coastal Empire to support low-income families by gathering school supplies. Over 1,000 items were collected, with our parts department contributing personally to the cause. This initiative was a step towards equipping young learners for success.

Back To School MWR Event (Early August):

  • In the spirit of the new school year, we participated in Hunter Army Airfield and Fort Stewart’s Back To School Family Fest. This event was an opportunity to connect with military families, offering free t-shirts and appreciation to the men and women serving our country. It was a moment to engage and give back to those who sacrifice so much.

Fight The War Within Ball (September):

  • We were proud sponsors of the Fight The War Within Ball, an event supporting veterans in need of mental and emotional assistance post-service. Hearing stories from soldiers who benefited from this foundation was profoundly moving and highlighted the importance of our involvement in such a significant cause.

Savannah Chamber Business Expo (September):

  • At the Savannah Chamber of Commerce Business Expo, we took a central role. As sponsors, we networked with local businesses and community members, showcasing our team and services. A highlight was displaying our 2023 Dodge Ram at the expo, symbolizing our commitment to teamwork and community engagement.

Drive Out Breast Cancer Campaign (October):

  • In collaboration with St. Joseph’s Candler Telfair Mammography Fund, we initiated the Drive Out Breast Cancer Campaign. A Grand Cherokee, wrapped in pink, became a symbol of hope as it collected over 5,000 signatures, including that of Savannah’s Mayor, Van Johnson. These signatures translated into a $5,000 donation towards mammogram screenings for women in need.

These initiatives reflect our dedication to making a positive difference in our community, driven by our core values of trust, innovation, and excellence.
