Governor DeSantis issues Executive Order

On April 1 st , 2020, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, issued an order to close non- essential businesses and services as of midnight on April 2 nd , 2020.
In his order, Governor DeSantis spelled out the specific guidelines for what are considered essential businesses in Section 2(b) of the order which directs other essential businesses to follow the guidelines of executive order 20-89 as it pertains to the Miami Dade classifications.
Amendment 1 to the Miami-Dade Emergency Order reads in Section 2(f) that essential retail and commercial businesses are:
“Gas stations, new and used automobile dealerships, auto supply and auto repair and related facilities”.
Based on the Governor’s order and classification of automobile dealerships as essential services, Step One Automotive Group will remain open in sales, service, and parts with the present hours of operation and maintain our present level of assistance to our communities.
