The last time the Chiefs played in the Super Bowl was 50 years ago. All the while, Hubbard was in a 12-square foot cell in a North Vietnamese prisoner-of-war camp, where he was kept for six and a half years. Hubbard was born and raised in Kansas City and always had a deep love for the city's team, the Chiefs. Unfortunately, he wasn't able to see them play in 1970 and didn't even find out about the team's victory until three years later when he was released in 1973.
